Designed by Yancy villa and located in the newly renovated terminal at the Memphis international airport, this project posed several exciting problem-solving opportunities for us. Comprised of over five hundred individual acrylic parts hung from the airport's undulating ceiling, the piece had several elements of difficulty when it came time to install. I had a lot of fun developing the hanging and locating system we used to position this work accurately.
